Things to know and prepare before travelling to Kathmandu, Nepal
We recommend you to arrive at August 29th which is a day before the event. If you plan to join our group tour after all conference program ends, We recommended you to depart on September 2nd. In case you are not joining group tour, You may depart on September 1st.
Nepal provides a convenient visa-on-arrival option for the majority of nationalities, ensuring easy access for visitors. Indian citizens benefit from freedom of movement and do not need a visa to enter Nepal. For further details, check the visa page.

Kathmandu is served by Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Nepal’s only international airport. Flights from major hubs across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe connect directly to Kathmandu.
While Nepal does not have a direct international rail link, only visitors from India can travel to the Nepal-India border by train and then take a bus or car or a flight to Kathmandu.
